Ranking the ACC: No. 6 Clemson Tigers


Last season, Clemson stunned most of the pre-season prognosticators by winning the Atlantic and scheduling a rematch with Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship game.  This year, the Tigers will look to repeat as Atlantic Division winners and take the school to their first ever BCS bowl. However, before that happens, 2nd year coach Dabo Swinney has some work to do with only five starters returning on offense and seven on defense.  Not to mention his quarterback is still undecided on whether or not he’s returning to school this fall.

Kyle Parker was drafted in the first round by the Colorado Rockies and is looking at a multi-million dollar contract if he leaves.  If that does happen, then the Tigers would have to rely on freshman Tajh Boyd as the team’s signal caller this fall.  Boyd struggled some this past spring but the coaches seem confident enough to hand him the reigns if Parker does leave.
