Evan Hailes Set To Decide

Evan Hailes, a four star defensive tackle from Oscar Smith High School, will decide after his weekend visit to Penn State this weekend. The four star has trimmed his list down to three with Tennessee, Penn State, and Virginia Tech making the cut.

"I've visited Virginia Tech and Tennessee so far, Hailes told ESPN.com. "I visit Penn State this Friday. After I visit Penn State I'll make my decision. I'll decide at the end of this week or beginning of next week."

Penn State seems to have the upper hand here since they have the last visit and they offer the most early playing time of any of the three schools.

Hailes has become good friends with Nick Acree, who is committed to Tech, but stated that he has some concerns with the depth at defensive tackle since the Hokies already have two committed DT's in this class and brought in two great recruits in David Wang and DeAntre Rhodes in last years class as well.

Last season, the 6-foot-1, 315-pound prospect registered 81 tackles and 11 sacks for Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.
